Ag+ Colloidal Silver Water Ionizers - Silva 936 and 93 models - are unique Russian inventions that have no analogues in the whole world. The difference between 936 and 93 models is that the 936 model contains a microprocessor to control the Silver ion dissolving process. It has an electronic control unit that automatically switches on and supports a stable yield of Ag+ silver ions in different environment during the lifetime of the device. It also has a built-in timer-blinker that indicates the status of the ionization process. The flashing periods of 5 seconds correspond to 0.25 liters (1 glass) of processed water and it allows you to calculate the required operation time for any volume of water by the number of flashes. The built-in timer automatically switches the ionizer off in 195 seconds, which is enough to ionize 10 liters of water (a classic Russian bucket). Thus even if you forget the ionizer in the water, it will prevent the early discharge of the built-in battery. The 93 model is much cheaper as it doesn't have any electronic controls, thus it should be operated manually with the help of your own timer/chronometer.

The operation is simple:

1. Put the device to the water so that the electrodes should be inside.
2. Take the device off when the proper silver ion concentration is reached.
3. Mix the water.

* According to medical standards, the maximum allowed concentration of silver in drinking water is 50 mcg/liter. This means that you should run this device for 20 seconds to process 1 liter (33.8 oz) of drinking water which will not do any harm to your health but kill most harmful bacteria in the water (the anti-bacterial features of silver water are known to occur with the concentration of colloidal silver 10 mcg/liter and above). You may prolong the processing time to increase the concentration of silver ions in the water, if the water is taken from a place with dubious bacterial composition (for example, if you need to disinfect water taken from rivers or natural springs during long trips, when there is no possibility to buy bottled water). However, it is not recommended to drink water with higher concentration of silver on a regular basis.
